Hollywood action star and former California governor Arnold Schwarzenegger makes a pitch for people to get vaccinated.   

Former California Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger taps into a famous movie quote from his 1991 film – Terminator 2: Judgement Day – to urge others to get the Covid vaccine.

“Come with me if you want to live.”

The Hollywood toughman posted a video on Twitter showing him getting a shot in the arm at the drive-through site at Dodger Stadium. People tweeting replies with similar movie themes such as, “Covid, you’re terminated,” and “I’ll be back for the second shot.” Carmen Roberts. Fox News

GM Unveils Flying Car

General Motors designs flying Cadillac that will fly from urban rooftop to rooftop.

General Motors unveiled plans Tuesday for a flying car.   

General Motors aims high for the future as it introduces its vision for a self-driving Cadillac that can fly.

“We’re preparing for a world where advances in electric and autonomous technology make personal air travel possible.”

GM surprised the CES 2021 audience with a animated video showing the futuristic car. Design chief Mike Simcoe says it’s a one-seater, vertical take off and landing drone or VTOL that will be able to fly from urban rooftop to rooftop. Christmas Asteroid Fly By

An asteroid the size of two football fields is set to pass by Earth today. 

The giant asteroid should be at its closest to Earth around 3:20 p.m. Eastern time.

The giant space rock will zip by our planet this afternoon at a speed of around 22-thousand miles an hour. NASA says the asteroid, dubbed 501647, will come within 1.9 million miles of Earth. Scientists say that’s a close fly by because any object that makes it within about 4.5 million miles is considered “potentially hazardous.” A much smaller asteroid will also fly by today but it won’t get as close. Bill Nye the Science Guy takes to TikTok to explain why everyone should wear a mask.

Bill Nye urges everyone to please wear a mask.

He’s gone viral but in a good way. A TikTok video by TV’s Bill Nye the Science Guy becomes a social media smash with more than 15 million likes. In it he uses physics, a few props and sound effects to explain how masks work to curb the spread of the coronavirus.

Here shooting down the false claim Covid can travel thorough masks. “Because viruses don’t travel by themselves. They travel in droplets of spit and snot.” As he demonstrates, “When the droplet gets into the fibers of a mask, it gets trapped. SpaceX Aborts Starship’s First Test Launch

The first test flight for SpaceX’s new Starship did not go as planned.

The countdown for the test launch of SpaceX’s next-generation Starship prototype went well right up until T-minus 1.3 seconds.

 Countdown: 3, 2, 1 …

SpaceX aborted the launch from its south Texas site when it detected something abnormal with one or more of the three Raptor engines. The next test launch to send the prototype 8 miles high will depend on how long it takes to fix the problem. Whatever that is. Carmen Roberts. Fox News.
